Demos, expos, home parties, markets: every trip is a chance for a knock, a scratch or a spill. Here is how to put together a simple travel kit that keeps your TM7 looking immaculate in front of customers.
1. Cover the screen
The TM7's 10-inch screen is the first thing customers see — and the first thing to scuff in transit. A screen cover slips on for the drive and comes off when you are ready to demo. A personalised cover with your name on it also doubles as a subtle branding touch.
2. Cap the motor
This is the one most consultants overlook. Because the TM7's motor section is exposed when the bowl is off, it is vulnerable exactly when you are packing up and loading the car. A motor cover keeps dust and knocks out of the most expensive part of the machine. If you do one thing on this list, do this.
3. Secure the loose bits
Spatula, lid cap and scale plate rattling around loose is how rubber tips tear and edges chip. A spatula and cap holder keeps them together and protected, and sets up neatly on the demo table too.
4. Think about how you pack
A few habits go a long way: transport the bowl separately from the base where you can, pad the screen even with a cover on, and never stack anything on top of the machine in the car. Cold mornings and hot afternoons in a parked car are hard on electronics — bring it inside when you can.
