Precision Manufacturing, Not Mass Production
Every product you see in our store starts as an idea, gets engineered as a 3D model, and is printed right here in Brisbane — one layer at a time.
We don't use injection-moulded plastic or offshore factories. We design, print, and inspect everything ourselves, which means we can hold a higher standard and iterate quickly when something can be improved.
Every product is designed, printed, and tested in a real Brisbane kitchen — not a lab, not a warehouse.
The Material We Use: Premium PETG
Most cheap 3D-printed products use PLA — it's easy to print but brittle, and it softens at temperatures as low as 60°C. That's not good enough for a kitchen environment.
We print in PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol) — a material chosen specifically because:
- ✅ Heat-resistant up to ~74°C — safe near your Thermomix
- ✅ Food-contact safe & BPA-free
- ✅ Impact and crack resistant
- ✅ Long-term colour stability — won't yellow or fade
- ✅ Flexible enough to absorb stress without snapping
| PLA — cheap prints | PETG — what we use | |
|---|---|---|
| Kitchen heat safe | ❌ Softens at 60°C | ✅ Rated to ~74°C |
| Food contact safe | ❌ | ✅ BPA-free |
| Impact resistant | ❌ Brittle | ✅ Flexible & tough |
| Longevity | ❌ Yellows & fades | ✅ Colour stable |
Our Equipment
We run a professional fleet of Prusa printers — the same machines used by engineers, medical device prototypers, and aerospace researchers. Not hobbyist hardware.
Every print is inspected by hand before it's packaged. If it doesn't meet our standard, it doesn't ship.
Designed for Exact Fit
Our accessories are engineered specifically for the Thermomix TM7. Dimensions are measured, modelled, and test-fitted through multiple prototypes before a product goes live. When it arrives, it fits — first time, every time.
Made in Brisbane 🇦🇺
We're a small Australian operation with a focus on quality over volume. When you buy from us, you're buying something that was designed, manufactured, and checked by a real person — not a warehouse algorithm.
Handcrafted Character — Not Factory Uniform
Mass-produced plastic parts look identical because they're stamped from the same mould, by the same machine, ten thousand times. Ours aren't.
3D printing is an additive manufacturing process — your accessory is built up layer by layer, and that process has its own honest aesthetic. Some characteristics you may notice:
| What you might see | What it is |
|---|---|
| Thread remnants | Fine strands left from the printing process — easily removed if preferred |
| Surface texture | Subtle layer variation from the additive process — part of how FDM printing works |
| Seam lines | Visible lines where layers or sections meet — inherent to the technique |
| Minor imperfections | Small inconsistencies that can occur in any handcrafted item |
These aren't defects — they're the signature of something made one at a time, not stamped out by a factory. Many of our customers see this as part of what makes the product feel genuine and considered.
Every item still goes through strict quality control before it ships. Structural integrity, fit, and finish are all checked by hand. What we're saying is: if your accessory has a faint seam line or a subtle surface texture, that's not a mistake — that's 3D printing being honest about what it is.
We think that's worth something.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will it fit my TM7?
Yes — every product is engineered specifically for the TM7. Dimensions are modelled and test-fitted through multiple prototypes before going live.
Is the plastic food safe?
Yes — PETG is food-contact safe and BPA-free, which is why we chose it over cheaper alternatives.
What if it doesn't fit?
We stand behind our products. If there's a fit issue, contact us and we'll make it right.
Why can't I find reviews on some products?
Some newer products haven't accumulated reviews yet — but every item is made using the same materials, equipment, and process as our most-reviewed products. Our overall rating across all orders is 4.9★.
