Meet the Founders
Hi, we’re Honza & Family
We’re a family-run business based in Brisbane, built around our passion for 3D printing, practical design, and everyday kitchen solutions.
Honza brings a strong technical background, with a Master’s degree in IT and years of experience across tech, systems, and innovation. From working with brands associated with Apple to running server infrastructure and even launching his own ISP back in the Czech Republic.
In early 2024, what started as a hobby with a single 3D printer quickly grew into something much bigger. Within months, it turned into a full-time workshop focused on designing smart, functional products for modern homes, especially for Thermomix users.
Hana plays a key role behind the scenes, helping shape the business into what it is today. From daily operations to real-life product testing, she ensures everything we create is practical, reliable, and genuinely useful.
A true family effort
This isn’t just a business, it’s something our whole family is part of.
Our kids are involved in the journey too. From testing durability (sometimes unintentionally 😄), to helping us see how products perform in real everyday situations.
That means when we say something works in a real home… it truly does.
Every product is designed, printed, and tested with real life in mind, busy kitchen, little hands, daily use, and everything in between.
What we create
From the Thermomix TM7 motor cover with the signature “V” (for perfect orientation and a subtle nod to versatility), to clever storage solutions and protective accessories — our goal is simple:
👉 Make your space cleaner, smarter, and more enjoyable.
Everything is made locally, with attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
Designed, tested, and used daily by our own family in Brisbane 🇦🇺
Alastair
Alastair was a big part of the early journey of 3D Kitchen Home Office and played an important role in shaping the business.
With experience across Australia, New Zealand, and Chile, his background spans hospitality, business ownership, and client-focused service. For over 14 years, he operated a successful property business and later worked as a buyer’s agent.
More recently, Alastair has stepped away to focus on a new endeavour.
We’re still in touch, and he remains connected as a valued customer and trusted product tester, continuing to provide feedback that helps us refine and improve our products.
Thank you for supporting a small, local, family-run business — it truly means a lot to us.
If you’ve got an idea, feedback, or something you’d love to see created, we’re always happy to hear from you.
